What does a teacher from the United States have in common with a Mexican National studying to be a pastor? God and Love. Christina and Enrique found common ground through faith and their respect and love for one another.
It was a perfect Sunday morning in the beautiful capital of Mexico. The streets were covered with vendors and passerbys on the busy road of El Paseo de La Reforma. Meanwhile inside the Emporio Reforma Hotel, Christina and Enrique exchanged vows. Their bi-lingual ceremony was graced with family and friends who traveled from all parts of the world to support them on their journey together. Though it was a day of full of life and celebration, there was one person missing from the crowd. Someone very important to the bride. It was her dear mother, who passed away right when she was entering into her adult years. At the beginning of the day, she felt the hole and emptiness in her heart. It was visible to her friends and she was beautifully transparent about it. As the day unfolded, her friends happily stepped in different parts of the day and filled the family-sized gap in her heart. Christina is truly blessed because she has friends who love her and now she’s even more blessed to have a God fearing man like Enrique by her side. They make an awesome couple. Thank you Christina and Enrique for allowing me to be a part of your day. Felicitationes y Que Dios le bendiga Por siempre.
